2 month lodgement and payment deferral for bushfire victims in NSW and QLD

Just wanna check if Sept 2019 BAS has already been lodged by the tax agent before the due date, will payment for this BAS return is due by 25 Nov 2019 or 28 Jan 2020. (for bushfire victims)

To be eligible for deferred payment due date, do we need to put the lodgement on hold?

I hope you and family are safe.

No you don't need to do anything they will do it automatically. Doesn't matter if the BAS is lodges you will still be eligible for the deferral if your postcode is on of those listed in the media release
