Hi, I currently make income from onlyfans and earn enough to pay taxes on. I have an ABN but I have not connecting the ABN to the onlyfans platform, meaning the income isn't tied to the ABN. If I connect my ABN to onlyfans now, after earning a significant amount previously. Can that previous income still be classified as business income after I connect the ABN? Is there anything I'd have to do differently on my filing my taxes if I connect the ABN halfway through my yearly earnings?

Hi @Cadenc,

There is a similar Q&A to this question which you can find in our Community under Onlyfans which I will link bellow.

Basically you will need to report all income earned through Onlyfans as business income in your tax return.

If your ABN did not have a start date from when your activity with Onlyfans commenced, then you will need to contact us on the number listed under Business Enquiries and request to have your ABN back dated.
