I am not sure if this is correct:

Super for contractors | Australian Taxation Office (ato.gov.au)


I have explained this to some new VAs.

They were different from the contractors because we are business owners. The second is more indicative of how we operate.

I get all these responses:

That’s only if you charge per project and not hourly rate.

But what if we do both?


My problem is that I offer hourly and prepaid packages to my clients, and I have a registered business name. I am also a Sole Trader. Does this mean, unfortunately, my clients have to pay superannuation?  Even if I work my own hours with my client's work? Just need it answered more?
