About checking unclaimed super and linking ato to my gov from overseas

I’m a Nepali citizen, worked in Australia, my visa expired in 2022. I’m back in Nepal. I need access to ATO to check super/tax any unclaimed money, but can’t log into myGov because my visa is expired and I can’t verify my identity using myGovID either since i dont have my aus visa and passport valid now. Please provide an alternative way to access my ATO account from overseas. I've tried everything i can. Even tried calling the office but i was put on hold forever and got hefty phone bill and just wasnt worth it.

So if anyone can help please let me know.

Hello @Prashish,

Sure.

You can lodge a Lost Super Search application (NAT 2476) with the ATO (through the mail) and they'll let you know what super accounts you have open still and if they hold any super amounts for you.

If they do have it, they'll also let you know how you can apply for it.

Otherwise, when you get the info back, you can possibly apply for a DASP.

It just depends on your circumstances and what you'd like to do. 😊

You can lodge a Lost Super Search application (NAT 2476) with the ATO (through the mail) and they'll let you know what super accounts you have open still and if they hold any super amounts for you.

If they do have it, they'll also let you know how you can apply for it.

Otherwise, when you get the info back, you can possibly apply for a DASP.

It just depends on your circumstances and what you'd like to do. 😊
