Hello,
As an employee of a business, I have been authorised in RAM and successfully used the myGovID app to log in to the ATO Business Portal for the business.

In the Business Portal, I can't see the Activity Statement or account information menu options for the company.

The company name and ABN are correct when I am logged in to the business portal.

Why can't I see the full list of menu options?

Thank you.

Hi @AMT8000,

It sounds like the person who authorised you might not have given you sufficient permission levels to access that. You might want to check with them what level of authorisation you were given and get it upgraded if necessary.

Let us know if you're still having trouble after trying that Smiley Happy

Thanks, NateH

Hi NateH,

Thank you for your helpful reply.

I am not currently aware of the specific permission level I have been given to access the business portal.

Could you tell me which of the permission level options is required to enable me to prepare and lodge activity statements and also see the company's integrated account information please?

Thanks again, AMT8000

Hi @AMT8000,

Either full or custom access (which allows the principal authority to choose which specific things they want to give you access to) should give you sufficient access.

Thanks, NateH

Hi NateH,

I see.  Thanks for your prompt response.

I will contact the principal authority to check the permission level I've been given and see if it can be changed.

If I'm still having issues, I'll be in touch.

Thank you for your help,

AMT8000

Hi NateH,

Following on from our previous messages, I'm still having issues with the business portal.

I now have the following permissions:

 - Authorised User; and

 - Machine Credential User (I have successfully installed the machine credential on my device and this is verified in the 'RAM Authorisation' website)

My problem is still the same though.  When I log in to the business portal, the menu doesn't show the 'Activity Statements' or 'Account details' options.  This means I can't prepare or submit activity statements or see the integrated account information.

What else needs to be done to allow me to have access to this information?

Thanks.

Hi @AMT8000

Sorry for the delayed response.

If you still require information it sounds like your access level is still restricted. You can be granted full, custom or none. The RAM website has more information about setting up authorisations.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Ari

Hi AriH,

Thank you for your reply.  At this point, I will try again to have the access level changed.
