Hi,

I have been trying to accept some authorisation request via the "authorisationmanager.gov.au" website as instruced in my RAM Austhorisation Code email from our managing director, but keep geting the following error code: The details you used to establish your digital identity do not match those provided in this authorisation request. Contact the person who authorised you. Error code: REB.BR.0047. But I am sure that my details are all correct. BTW, my identity strength is Basic. Is this is the reason why I got that error code? Also, I don't have any Australian Identity Document that meet requirements to set up my standard myGovID, any other documents that I can use? Such as my passport or my Photo ID?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Regards,

Lucia

Hi @Lucia,

As you mentioned this error code appears when you don't have sufficient level of identity strength.

You would need Australian Identity documents such as:

  • driver’s licence or learner’s permit
  • passport
  • birth certificate
  • Medicare card

If you don't have any of them, we have a solution coming in March where you will be able to use a Basic myGovID to access our online services.

Hope this helps. Thanks, NateH

Hi @NateATO

Thanks for you reply.

Yesterday I found this ATO use of Basic myGovID form on the your website(https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services/Accessing-online-services-with-myGovID-and-RAM/Access... ) and mailed copy of my foreign passport and photo identification to ATO. Could these document increase my identity strength? And how long could I get comfirmation email from your team?

Thanks,

Hi @Lucia,

Yes so long as the copies are certified, they meet the criteria listed on page 2 of the form you submitted.

At this stage we are not sure on the exact time frames for processing the forms, give it a little while and if you haven't heard anything contact the help desk.

Thanks, NateH

Hi NateH,

Since I don't have any Australian documents, I mailed my document to ATO twice to obtain a standard identity strength. But they all failed and I got an email for ATO said 'Identity document were not correctly certified'. First time I use the copy of the first page of my foreign passport and a copy of my proof of identity card (ACT government issued), it failed. Second time I use the copy of the first page of my foreign passport and copy of my foreign driver's license and it's cerified translation copy, it failed again.

I'd like to know the reason why my documents cannot be certified.

Thanks,

Hi there,

I am having the error REB.BR.0047. The difference is I have already sent my foreign passport & documents and it has been approved. My RAM name and MyGov ID name is also the same. My employer had to remove my middle name as another error popped up. Please let me know how I can fix this.

Hi @Aliaziz,

You may need to check with the person who authorised you what level of access they gave you. They will only be able to authorise you as a basic user.

Thanks, NateH

Hey Nate,

Thanks! The person authorising me issued a standard access instead of a basic access. It's all sorted now. Just fyi, the next step after that is to input the authorisation code from your email into the RAM website. If you're a basic user like me, you need to give further proof of identity. Hope this helps!
