Hi,

An NDIS contractor is paid to collect a disabled person from work & drive him to his home.  Obviously the m/v expenses relating to the drive from the disabled person work to their home would be tax deductible.  Are the mv costs for the whole of the return trip from/to the contractors home/place of business allowable as a deduction?

Hi @DeniseWormwell,

Thanks for your questions.

Check out our page on travel between home and work and between workplaces. Under the heading What you can claim, it advises that if you  regularly work at more than one site each day before returning, then you would be able to claim the cost of the travel.

Thanks
