Accessing COVID Early Access Super

I'm new

Just checking whether this scenario is eligible for early access super. While I haven't lost my employment due to COVID my ex partner has, resulting in a significant loss of child support as he is no longer employed. It doesn't specifically say in the eligibility requirements if this is included in loss of income, but for me the loss is in excess of $10,000. Does anyone know if this is a eligible for COVID early access super ?

Hi @mspurton20,

@Mekhael is on the right track here. Early Release of Super for Covid-19 eligibility centres around employment hours being reduced, not actual income. Income would only be assessed for sole-traders who have suffered a downturn in business turnover due to Covid-19.
