Basis of hours for lieu of notice and redundancy

Please can I request assistance in clarifying the number of hours we base a lieu of notice and redundancy payment on.

In our situation most of our staff were reduced to 4 days a week, therefore 30.4 hours instead of their standard 38 hours.

Unfortunately we need to make a redundancy this week, the employee is entitled to 4 weeks lieu of notice and 4 weeks redundancy - the question is do we pay based on 30.4 hours a week, which they have been working since March 2020 as part of our business slow down, or do they get paid the full 38 hours per week as per their original employment contract?

Thanks
