Can I claim JobMaker and Jobactive wage subsidy for the same employee at the same time?

As @SM2304 said, you won't be able to claim both subsidies.

 

To be eligible for JobMaker you cannot be receiving certain wage subsidies for an employee at the same time. You can view the effects of other government payments on JobMaker on our website.

 

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment website provides a list of financial incentives for employers. Our JobMaker eligibility page links this website when discussing subsidies that can't be claimed. JobActive falls under the 'financial support to hire new staff' section, and as a result cannot be claimed with JobMaker. If you click the link under this section you'll be taken to the page for JobActive.
