We have a client who was claiming JobKeeper for 2 employees from March-September 2020. They had stood down a 3rd employee in March, but did not claim JobKeeper for him as he was not eligible based on the long term casual requirement (employed for less than 12 months in March 2020).
However, this employee has since restarted employment in November 2020. And now the business is eligible for JobKeeper Extension 2 for January-March.
Will our client be able to claim JobKeeper for this 3rd employee for January-March? Provided they have paid him the minimum tier 2 JobKeeper wages by the required dates?
Or can they not add him in to JobKeeper because he was stood down from March-November 2020? The employee is not claiming JobKeeper with another employer currently and did not receive JobKeeper from another employer while he was stood down from our client's business.
