I have been asked to move to a 4 day week for the remainder of the FY. This is effectively down 20%. For the remaining day i need to use my annual leave and if required take unpaid leave. Does this meet the criteria of for 'on or after 1 January 2020 your working hours were reduced by 20% or more' to access my super, or is leave counted as working hours?

Hi @Ledgeando

Thanks for reaching out to ATO Community.

To be eligible for early release of super you must meet the eligibility requirements.

If working hours are reduced by 20% or more (including to zero)

Looks like you meet the 20% more reduction to working hours. Using annual leave as a top-up doesn't make you ineligible provided working hours have been reduced by 20% or more.

Hope this helps
