Early Super Access for WHV

Hey,

I made a DASP application very recently and then saw the recent information about early release of super. As far as the criteria go, I am eligible I think as I am unemployed. I would very much like my super tax free rather than taxed at 65%, could anyone clarify eligibility for people in my circumstance?

HI @ER83,

The complication is that you have already lodged your DASP request.

The new early release of super eligibility does not specify that you need to be a resident.

It may be worthwhile to contact your superannuation fund to check if the payment has been released and can the process be stopped.

The new release option is available mid April.
