Hi. I have only been with my current employer since February 2020, so I have no holiday pay due. This week I have been asked to take 2 days off, without pay (Im full time). This may be ongoing, from week to week, unknown days/hours. As I dont know how long I'll have hours reduced, can I still apply today for early release or do I need to wait til my payslip shows continued reduction in hours/dollars? Thanks.

Hi @Kel123

Thanks for reaching out.

Part of the eligibility for early release of super is;

  • your working hours were reduced by 20%

If you meet that criteria you would be eligible.

You do not need to attach evidence to support your application. However, you should keep records and documents to confirm your eligibility as we may ask you for this information.
