Re: Employer Asking Employee on Jobkeeper to Resign

I am due to return from maternity leave and am having difficulty securing full-time daycare.

I have indicated to my employer I want to return but my employer has asked me to resign from my position. Is it reasonable for them to ask this of me if I am currently on jobkeeper?

For questions about workplace entitlements and obligations in relation to the JobKeeper Payment scheme, the Fair Work Commission has released guidance on how it can assist with JobKeeper disputes.

If you are concerned that someone is doing the wrong thing in relation to JobKeeper payment, you can tell us about it.

I would suggest you contact Fairwork on 1300 799 675

 

They will have more knowledge on workers rights
