Good Morning,
Is it the case that the ATO may delay Jobkeeper Payments until 21st May 2020?
ATO Twitter stated on 7th May, "...so if you’ve already completed the process & meet eligibility requirements, you’ll see it within 14 days ...". If this is a fact I'll be out of business by then. Can you please clarify the accuracy of the ATO statement? A shame I've not hear the PM mention "over promising & under delivering".

Hi @Sub-aquatic

We can appreciate these are stressful and anxious times.

To answer your query, on average most payments issue within five business days from when your submit your application form (when you identify and maintain your employees). It may take longer if there are additional checks required or any errors made on your form.

If you have completed your application form and not received payment within the five business days, you can contact us on 13 28 66 (and select option 7) to find out further information on your application.

Hopefully this information helps and you will receive your payment soon.
