JobKeeper - will I receive money back in tax return?

I'm receiving JobKeeper payments from my employer, but am not claiming the tax-free threshold with them and so am being taxed $434 per $1500 payment. Will I be able to claim some of this back in my tax return at the end of the financial year?

Hi @amelia_008,

Thanks for reaching out.

The amount you are taxed depends on the amount you earned throughout the year. You can view the Individual income tax rates on our website for further information.

I hope this helps.

That depends what your total taxable income is going to be for the year as it is not an yes or no answer. The ATO has a basic tax calculator that you can play around with estimates it helps that we are getting closer to the end of the year.
