My boss is not responding about Jobseeker

Hi, I'm an employee in a very tricky position.

I'm currently employed at a small gym with a small amount of employees.

I have been trying to get in contact with my boss for a few weeks now about what type of financial support I would get as an employee. After recieving no communication back via Call, text messages and email, I'm stuck with what to do. I've even sent an email detailing all steps to register for Jobseeker with my completed forms. I'm not expecting any response from as it has been a very long time.

I know there are deadlines to this and therefore want to get this sorted ASAP.

Therefore, what can I do If my boss doesn't want to register for the Jobseeker payments, and is there any way around going through my boss to receive these payments?

Any help would be appreciated!

Not much you can do unfortunately. Employers have the option of utilising JobKeeper or not.

Additional to above answer if your employer is not responding to you at all about any issue in your workplace it could be worth seeking advice from fairwork.gov.au
