Hi there,

Just wanting to clarify if being stood down from work (closed due to the virus) and being paid Jobkeeper, is classed as a “reduction” in working hours according to the ATO eligibility for super early release?

@Bakl02 nothing mentioned about being paid. If you hours have reduced you can apply. Here is the eligibility.

Thank you for your reply Smiley Happy
I was just worried about incurring ATO penalties for withdrawing my super (stood down, unsure of employment or JK payments continuing and household reduced to one income) but I assumed that being stood down would be considered a reduction in working hours just was unsure if Jobkeeper interfered with that.
Really don’t want to incur a 12k fine Smiley Sad
