If an employee indicated there intention to take unpaid leave after maternity leave for approximately 3.5 months pre Corona (ie $0 salary) whilst they arrange childcare to enable their return to work, under Jobkeeper it appears they are entitled to continue receiving approximately $10,500 ($1500 x 7 fortnights)?  Is this correct?

Hi @SKHS ,

Yes you are correct. As shown in this answer here to a similar question, as long as your employee is not receiving other allowances such as the Australian Government Parental Leave Pay or Dad and Partner Pay while they are on leave, they will continue to be eligible to receive JobKeeper.

Hope this helps.
