I lived in Australia in 2016 and worked for 6 months on a working holiday visa. i am planning to go back to Australia in the future, that's why I do not want to claim my super. I wonder how long or how many years does ATO keep my superannuation?

Hi @basakcanus,

Welcome to our Community!

Generally speaking, we hold onto lost super indefinitely or until you meet a condition to have the funds released, such as you open a new Australian Super account or the balance of your super is less than $200.

You can find more information about ATO-held super on our website.

Thanks, JodieH.
