Worried you’re missing part of your refund? Remember, the low and middle income tax offset isn’t a refund on its own – it’s used to offset (or reduce) the amount of tax you pay. The offset amount you may be entitled to is automatically applied and could range between $255-$1080, depending on things like your taxable income and how much tax you’ve paid.

Hi @djtonyd,

Welcome to our Community!

You only need to lodge one individual income tax return, reporting both lots of income you've received form your two different employers in the income section.

If you're lodging your return online via myTax you're income statement or payment summary information may pre-fill into your return. If not, and no income information is showing you can add the information by selecting the 'Add' button and entering the information into the corresponding fields.

You also claim any work-deductions for both jobs in the deduction section of your return. If you need assistance while lodging your return in myTax, you can select the 'Live chat' options to the right of your screen when signed into myTax to connect with an officer.

Thanks, JodieH.

Your tax return is the collection of all of your income from all sources; employment, business, investment, Centrelink etc.

So 1 tax return includes all your payment summaries individually eg

Income Item 1: ABC PTY ltd Gross earnings $23,567 and $2,345 tax witheld.

Income Item 1: XYC PTY Ltd Gross earnings $45,567 and $6,745 tax witheld.
