Buyers Identity - On a valid tax invoice do we need to have buyers address? or buyers name is enough?

Tax invoices for sales of $1,000 or more need to show the buyer's identity or ABN. In turn, the buyer's name is enough to meet this requirement. You don't have to include the buyer's address.

 

You don't need to include the buyer's identity on tax invoices for taxable sales of less than $1,000.

 

For more information about tax invoices and the information they must include, check out our website. While a buyer's address is listed in the examples, it isn't compulsory.
