Claimed super and apply for state sponsor

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with my current situation. 3 years ago I was in Australia on a working holiday visa. When I left I claimed my super back as I was entitled to it.

Although I’m now In the process of state sponsorship and worried as I’ve heard mixed views that claiming it back when I did, ‘might’ effect my chances of obtaining new visa. Does anyone have more information on this as I am struggling to find the correct answer.

Welcome to the Community.

Claiming your super as a DASP won’t affect your future visa applications.

However, if you have any questions about your visa application, you’ll need to contact the Department of Home Affairs.
