How long does it usually take to get superannuation back after making a claim after leaving Australia?

Is it normal for the ATO to NOT send an email to let you know they have received your claim?

Is waiting for over a month without correspondence normal?

Sorry to read about your wait.

 

Depending on how you made the claim the estimated service standard does vary. During perk times the ATO may not be able to process within our normal service standards.

 

To check on the progress or to confirm we have received your DASP I would recommend giving the ATO a call on our international number +61 2 6216 1111 8.00am–5.00pm, Monday–Friday (Australian Eastern Standard Time) except national public holidays
