Good morning,

Can you be a AUSKEY manager to upload STP reports to the ATO or do you have to be the AUSKEY Administator?

Cheers

Hi @Aprilc,

Thanks for getting in touch! The short answer is - it depends on your software solution.

You won't need an Auskey if you're using a sending service provider (SSP) to send your STP file to us (your SSP will connect to us using its own AUSkey) or if you're using cloud-based or online software to send your STP file to us. Instead, you'll connect to us using the unique software ID (SSID) your software provider has given you. You may need an administrator Auskey if you need to send us your SSID using Access Manager.

You will need your own AUSkey if you are using software that connects directly to us, such as an on-premise solution.

You'll also need to make sure that the person completing the report is authorised to do so.

Hope that helps!
