Hi, real beginner here....

1. I assume that when you lodge STP report that super contributions are included ?

2. Apparently you then get a report to pay the PAYGW, so how do we pay the super ?

Really really lost...

Using MYOB Advanced people payroll (not Exo)

Thanks

Judy

Hi @BBJudy,

Welcome to the Community.

You don’t report the super contributions you’ve made to a super fund for your employee through STP, however you do need to report the amount of:

  • super your employee is entitled to (year to date) or
  • your employee’s ordinary time earnings for that pay event.

You can find a full list of the super information you need to include in your STP report on our website.

When you submit your STP report, you won’t receive a reminder to pay your super contributions. You’ll still need to pay your super contributions to your employee’s super fund by the quarterly due date.

Thanks, NicM.
