Hello, I’ve been driving for Uber eats for a week and have just been paid I also have a full time job. I’m just wondering do I have to pay tax for my Uber eats driving and how?

Hi @Shaniah2511 

 

When you use sharing economy platforms like Uber Eats you're providing services for a fee so you need to keep records of all assessable income and deductible expenses and declare them in your tax return. You also need to consider whether you need to register for GST and pay GST on payments you receive.
