Worried you’re missing part of your refund? Remember, the low and middle income tax offset isn’t a refund on its own – it’s used to offset (or reduce) the amount of tax you pay. The offset amount you may be entitled to is automatically applied and could range between $255-$1080, depending on things like your taxable income and how much tax you’ve paid.

Hi, Was wondering the approximate time between step 5. In Progress and Step 6. Issued - $ Amount on my tax return. There is only 6 steps in the process, so wondering how long it takes to do the last two steps! Thanks!!

Hi @Slayersgirl,

Welcome to our Community!

Unfortunately there are no set times when processing tax returns, as there can be a number of factors that effect it. Information regarding the stages of your tax return are available on our knowledge base.

Please note, if you are entitled to a refund, it can take a few days for your financial institution to process it.

Thanks, @NelsonS
