Weekly PAYG amount is incorrect

Hi there,

I have recently realised that I have been taxed much higher weekly PAYG amounts because I had accidentally indicated the “No Tax Free Threshold” when I am entitled to claim the “Tax Free Threshold”. Am I able to claim back from the ATO the PAYG I have paid from 7 July 2019 - 13 July 2019?

Hi @Sara2,

Thanks for your question.

When you lodge your 2020 Income tax return we will calculate how much tax you have paid and if there is excess this will be refunded to you. There isn’t any way to have it refunded earlier.
