Worried you’re missing part of your refund? Remember, the low and middle income tax offset isn’t a refund on its own – it’s used to offset (or reduce) the amount of tax you pay. The offset amount you may be entitled to is automatically applied and could range between $255-$1080, depending on things like your taxable income and how much tax you’ve paid.

at this time, how can I fix it?

do I have to contact bank or ATO?

or money will be back to ATO super

have a good night.

Hi @spellbiscuit,

If you transferred your super to an account that is in the process of closing, the super fund might open a new account for you, or they might send the money back to us.

You should contact them to confirm what their process is when this situation happens, as it will vary depending on the time they process the transfer and on which fund you're with.

If the funds are sent back to us, you can do another transfer to your new super fund account (once it's reported to us and you can see it on your myGov account).
