Worried you’re missing part of your refund? Remember, the low and middle income tax offset isn’t a refund on its own – it’s used to offset (or reduce) the amount of tax you pay. The offset amount you may be entitled to is automatically applied and could range between $255-$1080, depending on things like your taxable income and how much tax you’ve paid.
I'd like to know how I can go about getting precise information on the whereabouts of my current total super ampunt (previously consolidated from multiple minor accounts). Most recent action on ATO was request for release of super that'd been held to a Mercer Pty Ltd fund I created at the same time, specifically for receipt of my ATO held funds. Since a clerical error with Mercer caused a rejection of the funds to that account I cannot get any insight as to what is likely to have happened subsequently, where the funds may have been returned to and/or how I might get this info. I'd appreciate a response at the earliest possible opportunity as I am in dire need of the total funds available as at time of my last balance summary. Many thanks
