I paid $3000 into my wifes Super who earns less than $37000

I have entered her Taxable income but where do I claim the $3000 ($540 rebate)?

Where on the claim form do I do this?

 

When I do a refund calculations & look up the details there is 

 

Non-refundable tax offsets

Low and middle income
 
Low income earner
 

Refundable tax offsets

Franking credits


No super offset

T3 Superannuation contributions on behalf of your spouse

Step 1
Write the total of your contributions at Contributions paid item T3 on your tax return.

Welcome to the Community.

 

It sounds like you're looking to claim the 'Super contributions on behalf of your spouse' tax offset.

 

As @Biggiesmalls mentioned, if you're completing a paper tax return, you'll need to complete question T3 'Superannuation contributions on behalf of your spouse'.

 

If you're lodging your tax using myTax, in the Personalise return screen select:

  • 'You are claiming tax offsets, adjustments or a credit for early payment', then
  • 'Superannuation contributions on behalf of your spouse'.
