Hi, I was in Australia for about 3 years on student visa. Since my visa has ended a year ago, i have left australia and returned to my native country. I have although applied for PR and is currently in progress. In this situation, I have received mails from my super provider , if I would like to continue my super or cease it. I have heard certain news that once we claim our supepr we cannot return back to Australia ever. Is this correct or can i claim and remove my super now and would that have any impact on my PR application or my return to Australia.

Please kindly advise on this. Appreciate the help and time .

Regards

Deepak

Hi @deepakpots,

Thanks for your question.

We have no information that claiming your Departing Australia Superannuation payment has any effect on your application for permanent residency. You can have a look at the immigration website for further information.

Thanks
