I'm a NZ citizen intending to make a move to Aus later in the year for family reasons - but for various reasons am hoping to stay employed by the business I work for in NZ. I will be in Aus permanently - not commuting (though of course will do holidays etc in NZ). I'm an employee - and I assume my employer will continue to deduct my tax, student loan, superannuation etc as per usual.
Is this possible? From what I understand, I would need to make up any tax shortfall in Aus?
