It all depends on what it was for.

 

If they are personal injury annuity and personal injury lump sum payments that you receive from a structured settlement are tax-exempt or tax-free.

Thanks. It was about the services that one institute supposed to give me but they failed to give that services. They accepted their fault under deed of release. Do you know which category of tax this payment belongs to?
