Worried you’re missing part of your refund? Remember, the low and middle income tax offset isn’t a refund on its own – it’s used to offset (or reduce) the amount of tax you pay. The offset amount you may be entitled to is automatically applied and could range between $255-$1080, depending on things like your taxable income and how much tax you’ve paid.

Warning amending issue

I have already requested a tax refund. Have done all the steps But in the system it says "warning amending a tax return in progress will delay the outcome, including any associated refund" but I still haven't received the receipt by email. Can I still request a refund? Or how do I fix it?

Hi @Tanaporn

Thank you for your question.

The process for requesting an amendment is detailed on our website.

If your original tax return has not finalised, this may delay the outcome of your return hence the warning.

Hope you find this helpful.
