Hi @KYeoward,

We haven't forgotten about your request for a new STP board, and we're still thinking it over and working out if this is something that the rest of the Community would be interested in doing.

We're going to put your request into the Community's hands. Community, if you're interested in a separate Single Touch Payroll board, let us know by liking @KYeoward's post. If we get enough likes, we'll see what we can do to get it up and running.

Thanks! @AmandaE

HI @KYeoward,

Thanks for your suggestion!

We usually create boards when there's a high demand for information and we're receiving a large number of posts. However, we're aware of the upcoming changes to Single Touch Payroll and the effect this may have on employers and tax professionals. We'll aim to provide as much informaiton as possible, so watch this space!

Thanks.

Hi @JodieH - this umportant message regarding Single Touch Payroll (STP) was posted by MYOB on their Community Forum earlier today.

Important Update re STP:

We [MYOB} have been working closely with the ATO to ensure all our [MYOB] clients are STP compliant.

STP enabled online solutions will be available [for MYOB 's clients] for the commencement of STP reporting on 1 July 2018.

We encourage our [MYOB] AccountRight customers to move to an STP enabled version of AccountRight to ensure you are ready to meet your STP reporting obligations.

Clients who are unable to move to an STP enabled version, because they are currently using multi-currency, negative inventory, M-Powered Payment or ODBC and those using [MYOB] AccountEdge, have been granted an STP reporting deferral until 31 May 2019."

Unfortunately there seems to be little information and support on this forum, for the new Single Touch Payroll system (STP) starting on 1 July.

There have been many questions about it in the MYOB and Xero Community Forums.

Maybe you should contact the ATO software developers and invite them to be part of the other forums that you claim are actively discussing these matters.  you never know, someone might just take you up
