Hello

This may seem a strange question but I would suggest I am not the only employer who would be in this situation.

Getting prepared for STP lodgements before September deadline.

This is about the employee data to be submitted.
I am pretty sure the birth dates supplied to me by a couple of my long time mature age female employees is not exactly correct.

I would dearly love to avoid the embarrassment to them and to me by having to question them on this point.

Does anyone know if my STP lodgements will be rejected if they are lodged with these DOB that obviously will not be a perfect match to their correct tax data already at ATO.

All their other information (TFN  ,  address etc) I know is correct.

Any advice appreciated

Jim

Not sure that DoB is all that important for STP, but it is important for super.

STP runs on TFNs.

If it is important to you just tell them, that you are comfirming payroll data as required by ATO, and need to confirm date of birth.

Driver's licence shows date of birth.

No-one should be embarrassed about DoB  -  it is just a fact of life.
