Hi, I was Uber driver from Jan to Mar this year. And I got another job from Apr as salary worker.

I am going to lodge income tax now. Do I have to lodge Uber income as sole trader income?

Thank you so much.

Uber Drivers also need to be registered for GST.

You will need to complete a quaterly BAS for Jan - Mar.

The income is classified as business income (sole trader) and need to be included at item 15 of the tax return.

Thank you for your reply.

I have already done BAS for Jan~Mar. I tried to do income tax lodgement myself.

But it is quiet complicated. Do I need to put BAS information on income tax lodgement?

Or I need tax agent for this?

Thank you so much.
