One of our employees made an error in the tax file number on their tax file number declaration form. Will they need to submit a whole new form or is it possible to amend it somehow before sending to the ATO?
They should fill out the form correctly (and its in their interest to do so).
You should not be amending such documents on their behalf.
Just fill a new one - you can even fill it out in the pdf then print & sign - its not that hard or onerous.
Which would be fine if it were my form. It would just be nice to be able to bypass having to send the form back to the employees in these situations when I know what the correct details shoud be.
