Is the 14 day processing period based on actual working days or just 14 straight days ?
Cheers

Hi @doogs1981,

Welcome to our Community!

We aim to process electronic lodgments within 2 weeks however, there may come times when this takes longer and manual processing needs to occur - lodging multiple returns at once means it could take us longer to process. Paper lodgments are processed within 10 weeks as these need to be keyed in manually. You can find more information about the progress of returns and what the different stages mean on our website.

Keep an eye on your myGov account for any account updates and your inbox for any correspondence regarding your returns.

If you have any further questions you can phone us on 13 26 81 between 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday to speak with an operator.

Thanks.

Hi doogs1981

94% of individual and non-individual electronic tax returns are finalised in 12 business days (applies to current year tax returns only).

Multiple tax returns some times take a bit longer.
