 Hi @Temporary,

Welcome to our Community!

We may need to know some more information about what it is you're trying to clarify.

Australian residents for tax purposes are entitled to claim the tax-free threshold which sees the first $18,200 of their yearly income not taxed. You may be a resident for tax purposes if you're here on a 482 TSS visa.

When you lodge your income tax return, you can claim any work related expenses as deductions and you may be entitled to a tax offset. We'll work out if you're entitled to any offset based on the information you report in your return.

You may wish to contact Centrelink to see if you meet the criteria for Family Tax Benefits, which they administer.

Thanks, JodieH.
