To link your myGov account to the ATO follow these steps:
- Sign in to your myGov account
- select ATO from the list of services
- Select Questions specific to you and
- answer two questions about information relevant to your tax record.
The fastest and easiest option is to select Questions specific to you.
To answer the questions, you’ll need two of the following:
- Bank account details
- PAYG payment summary
- Centrelink payment summary
- Notice of assessment
- Super account details
- Dividend statement

You will need your TFN and be able to answer 2 questions specific to your ATO record. The information you need for linking us on MyGov is available on our website.
