I have a commonwealth of Australia Certificate of Marriage issued in Victoria. The provided example of where to find the registration no. Is not the same as my certificate. my certificate was issued in 2010. It has six digit registration no. And is not in a box as per example. There is no other registration no. On my certificate. The six digits don’t work. Thank you

Hello @BonnieB,

The registration number is usually in the format of several numbers then a slash and the year. You need to only enter the numbers and leave the slash/year when entering it. If your registration number is not working or not visible you may need to confirm it with births, deaths and marriages Victoria. As this is the government entity that our system will ping to see if what you have entered is correct. Also if it didn't work on the day, try the next just to make sure their wasn't a system issue with the verification.
