Hi everyone, there are already similar inquiries regarding this problem, but I couldn't solve it the same way.

I can't log in into my ATO account, doesn't matter if I try from PC with different browsers or through the ATO app on mobile. If I try to login on PC this error appears: "A951.22 - Unable to verify your identity" with a generic "contact us" link, while trying to login with the ATO app it appears the number "132861".

After calling the number I tried to explain my problem and the phone operator suggested this wasn't an ATO problem but a MyGov problem, even if I am able to login into MyGov.

To avoid wasting more time do I actually have to call MyGov or is a problem that can actually be solved by an ATO operator like is stated in different questions in this community?


Thank you in advance for the answer and if you have any suggestion on how this problem can be explained to a phone operator to be easily understood I appreciate any hint.

Your going to have to call the ATO Client Identity Support Centre on 1800 467 033, as the ATO have locked your account probably for security reasosn. Here is a tip, sometimes when that area is very busy the phone calls will go to another area, so when the ATO answer the call ask the operator if they are in the "Client Identity Support Centre", otherwise your going to be wasting a lot of time with someone that won't be able to assist you.
