I rent out part of my home on Booking.com. i dont need an ABN. Booking.com has been taking 10% GST since January. They insist. Do I have to register for an ABN now to sort this out.
Airbnb does not charge GST but I use them as well. If I get a ABN do I have to charge GST on all or just those bookings from Booking.com.
Thank you

When you say     Booking.com has been taking 10% GST since January.

Do you mean 10% GST has been added to their charges, or 10% GST has been added to the whole of the accom charge?

My answer will be different according to which it is.
