Yes! There are no eligibility requirements of the downsizer contribution to make the contribution into a pre-existing superannuation account.
You should check with the fund you wish to do this with to ensure they will allow it, though. You can read about the eligibility for the superannuation downsizer measure on our website.

But she does not have any exsisting super account. No Super at all! Can she start one with a downsizer contribution?
