In the capital gains section, I have pre-filled income from managed funds distributions. Which amount do I add in to the 'Capital gains from trusts (including managed funds)' section as a capital gain? Is it the total year capital gains or the net capital gains?

This is the pre-filled info:
$7,883.42 total current year capital gains and $3,941.71 net capital gains amounts distributed from x. Net capital gains includes $0.00 discounted gain and $0.00 other gain.

Thanks

Thank you for your question. There is a similar post Capital Gains and Managed Funds.

The fund has calculated the 50% net capital gains amount for you of $3941.71. You can also read myTax 2020 managed funds to help you fill out your tax return.

I hope this helps
