Hi @Yoharn@

@GoWithIt is right – you can find registered tax practitioners in your area by searching the Tax Practitioner Board (TPB) register at https://www.tpb.gov.au/search-register.

Only registered tax agents, BAS agents and financial advisers can legally charge a fee or other reward for providing their services. Find out more at https://www.tpb.gov.au/finding-and-using-tax-practitioner.

Hope that helps! Thanks, Amanda.

My mum's a tax agent - she has to register with TPB. Maybe check there?

Yoharn,

I am a Tax Agent but have no trucking businesses as clients.

My advice is to find a Tax Agent who has multiple tracking businesses as clients.

This should be clear from a Tax Agent's Website as they should list the industries that they specialise in, like and prefer.

I understand that the Xero website has a Search Directory under Industry.

Most of the software providers have a Community Forum so you might like to see if a prospective Tax Agent has posted articles.

As mentioned, the TPB website should be checked.
